Today’s Industrial Grade TEFLON is not the old water based material used on frying pans or a 70’s technology alcohol based moly-coat poly-something.
This AeroSpace material is REAL DuPont TEFLON in a combination of epoxy and melamine resins !
The result is a durable, self-lubricating finish, that seals all metal surfaces from rust or corrosion.
With the absence of oil, there is nothing to trap and hold dust or unburned gunpowder to interfere with the firearm function.
